1) Why does my business, church, organization or club need a website?

This is a very good question, and one which has a very simple answer! In brief, a website is a marketing tool, which will advertise your business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year. Even after your business or organization closes, people all over the world can access your site and see what you have to offer. A website will also help you acquire new and potential customers and clients locally and globally. I have prepared a document which you may find helpful in answering this question, which also acts as a 'start up' resource tool. 2) What do you need from me, in order to get started?

I have prepared a list of things to think about and prepare which will help you get started. You may have some design ideas, photos, text and other information which you would like included on your site. Providing this to me ahead of time will also help in the design phase, so it can be a smooth and easy process. Please contact me if you have questions and I can send this document to you.

3) How much is this going to cost?

This is a difficult question to answer as every project is unique. It is difficult for me to tell you an exact amount without determining what you would like me to do. Please email me with details of what you have in mind, so I can evaluate your design needs and provide you with an estimated project cost which will suit your design and budget. 4) How long is this going to take?

This depends on what service(s) you require. No two projects or designs are exactly the same. Please contact me and fill out the request form with details of what you would like me to do and what you have in mind, I can then prepare an estimate time frame specifically for your individual needs.

5) When can you start?

This depends on how soon you would like your web site or design completed by.

What I like to do is work on one project at a time which allows for my full focus on your project. I might be able to start and work on your project, while I complete another one, or I might have to wait until the previous project is complete. It just depends on what service(s) you would like me to do. Please contact me for time frame(s) and for further details.

6) Can you provide services anywhere in the world, no matter where I am?

Yes I can! This is one of the advantages of having high speed internet and email.

7) Can you provide domain name registration and/or web site server and hosting?

Yes I can. I do not have the facilities to do this myself, but I can recommend a very good web server/hosting company who is based in Ontario called "Host Papa".

Host Papa has been rated the Top 10 Best Hosting Companies in Canada; highly rated, and has won many awards. Hosts websites within Canada and the USA. A privately-owned company located in Toronto, Ontario.

They host over 130,000 domains and can provide you with your own registered domain name (i.e. focusonedesign.ca) within 24-48 hours! I believe you will be very happy with their services. For more information and rates visit www.hostpapa.ca.

8) Can I still use my existing server to host the site?

Yes you can. I would need your server's user name and password so I can upload to your account. This is so I can delete your 'old' website and upload your new website. Your website address will remain the same.

9) If I buy a website from you, do I own it?

Yes you do! Once the website is complete you "own" it. I can either provide you with web site hosting or can provide a back up CD of your website to take with you where ever you may go.

10) Can you provide technical support?

I sure can! What ever problem you may be having, or may need help with - just send me an email and I can assist you.

11) If I am ready to have you do a service for us, what happens next?

• Email me with details of what is required and/or fill out the Request Form
• Focus One Design will then send a proposal for your review. This includes cost(s), time
      frame, specifications of what is needed, and recommendations.
• When the proposal is accepted, a contract will be provided for your approval and
      signature.
• Once the contract is signed, please provide me with any information for your website, so I
      can commence.
